Ba Kusuma Dewa: Bali’s rising photographer shines bright with 377K new followers and counting on Instagram and TikTok in just five months

Bali, August 3, 2023 – Ba Kusuma Dewa, a Bali-based photographer, has become the talk of the town after amassing a staggering 377,000 new followers on social media platforms Instagram and TikTok in just five months. His portfolio has also reached an impressive milestone, garnering over 200 million views.

Ba Kusuma Dewa’s journey as a photographer started amidst the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. He found his creative avenue to promote Bali’s tourism destinations and uniquely captured the island’s essence.

Armed with his camera and ingenuity, Ba Kusuma Dewa ventured into crafting captivating visual content, which he generously shared with travelers who were willing to return to Bali after the pandemic. His ability to create breathtaking and striking photographs stems from his meticulous eye for angles, the skillful direction of poses, and the comfort he brings to his subjects.

His knack for capturing moments not only attracted attention but also caught the eye of Atlas Beach Fest. As a homegrown talent, Atlas Beach Fest is dedicated to engaging young talents from within the country to fulfill their ambitions and dreams.

Hence, the world’s largest beach club proudly announced Ba Kusuma Dewa as the official content creator of Atlas Beach Fest. Atlas Beach Fest believes that the proper support and exposure can not only foster its outstanding talent but also offer inspiration and visual wonders to its visitors. Almost every day, he immortalizes the moments of tourists from various countries exploring Bali.

His skills have even drawn the admiration of notable figures, including artists and celebrities. He has captured precious moments for the likes of Erica Carlina, Anji, Permesta Dhyaz, Hotman Paris Hutapea, and many others. His photography achievements have been acknowledged, such as when musician Kevin Aprilio personally shared his WhatsApp number after unintentionally becoming Ba Kusuma Dewa’s model during a visit to Atlas Beach Fest. “I feel deeply honored and grateful for the opportunity to be an official content creator at Atlas Beach Fest.

In a short period, my followers have reached 377,000, and my creations have been viewed over 200 million times,” said Ba Kusuma Dewa joyfully. As a source of pride for the local community, Ba Kusuma Dewa remains steadfast in honing his skills while upholding ethical principles.

Amid concerns about illegal work by foreigners, he exhibits his loyalty to his country by dutifully paying taxes on his income. “I always uphold ethical principles while developing my talent. Being a part of this community is an honor, and I take pride in contributing by paying taxes obediently. With integrity and dedication, we can create meaningful positive changes.”

With the return of tourists post-pandemic, Ba Kusuma Dewa willingly offers paid photo sessions to visitors of Atlas Beach Fest. He hopes this initiative can reach a wider audience and contribute to Bali’s economy and tourism.

“I aim to employ my photography skills to appreciate the tourists returning to Bali after these challenging times. I aspire to produce inspiring photo content that showcases the island’s beauty, offered freely as a token of gratitude to those who visit Bali.”

He extends his gratitude to all followers and supporters who have provided unwavering support. He is committed to continuously developing his photographic works and becoming a source of pride for the local community in Bali.
