Bali, 8 March 2024 - The First Barong Bangkung Performance at a Beach Club!

The biggest beach club in the world takes pride in showcasing the cultural diversity of Bali. This month, the Barong Bangkung performance is set to entertain visitors.

Barong Bangkung is a traditional Balinese dance performance that captures a unique form of Barong, a variant represented as a boar. Barong Bangkung embodies the eternal good vs evil battle, highlighting a protective force of good fighting against Rangda, the embodiment of evil. 

Barong Bangkung usually roams the streets during Galungan and Kuningan. For the first time, Atlas Beach Club becomes the first beach club to have Barong Bangkung perform on its dance floor. Atlas celebrates local tradition, showcasing Bali’s finest performances to the public. 

Catch the mighty performance of Barong Bangkung at Atlas Beach Club every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 6 PM WITA. Only available until the end of March!
